A Slow Small Fall
Melancholy, digital ghosts and emotional collapse. One of the most cinematic Darkold releases to date.
Dark electronic music, cinematic visuals and sleepless emotions.
Darkold is a dark electronic music project formed in Bilbao by Koldo Iglesias and Arka Devbil. Blending darkwave, synthwave, post-punk and cinematic electronic textures, the project explores themes of emotional collapse, desire, isolation, identity and reconstruction through dense atmospheres and emotionally charged songwriting.
What began as a home studio collaboration between two artists obsessed with electronic music, visual aesthetics and emotional storytelling has evolved into a constantly expanding multimedia universe combining music, videoclips, visualizers, 3D visuals and cinematic concepts.
Darkold has released tracks and videoclips such as “Deleted”, “Forbidden Desires”, “Sharp Glass”, “Cake of (F)Lies”, “Betrayal finds a home”, “Hooded Avenger”, “Niebla y Silencio”, “The Stone” and the latest release “A Slow Small Fall”, continuing their evolution towards darker, more cinematic and emotionally immersive territory. Their recent work expands the Darkold universe through videoclips, visualizers and strong audiovisual aesthetics inspired by retro-futurism, dark electronic culture and emotional storytelling.
The project has also appeared in interviews and local media, including TeleBilbao’s Local Musical, where Darkold presented its artistic vision, influences and future ambitions as an independent multimedia music project. Beyond music, Darkold continues developing its own visual identity through cinematic concepts, digital art and 3D-oriented aesthetics connected to the band’s evolving universe.
Inspired by artists such as TR/ST, Mareux, Minuit Machine, Twin Tribes, Placebo and darker industrial aesthetics, Darkold creates music for people who think too much at 3 a.m.
“We write songs for people who overthink at 3 a.m.”

Official videoclips, visualizers and fragments from the Darkold universe.
Melancholy, digital ghosts and emotional collapse. One of the most cinematic Darkold releases to date.
Industrial tension, synthetic paranoia and distorted desire. One of the darkest pieces inside the Darkold universe.
Desire, guilt and neon intimacy.
Broken memories floating through blue light.
The first fracture in the Darkold universe.
Heavy pulses and synthetic tension.
Post-punk decay and emotional aftermath.
Singles, EPs and sonic scars — from ethereal synth textures to hard-hitting bass.
A fragile collision between melancholy and electronic pulse. Built from fading memories, nocturnal atmospheres and slow emotional collapse.
A dark and cinematic collaboration where cold synth textures meet haunting vocals. “The Stone” explores emotional weight, resilience and inner transformation, blending electronic intensity with raw atmosphere.
A ruined hospital, cold neon lights and a voice trying to break through the static. Submitted to Benidorm Fest 2026, it fuses German electronica with the ghosts of our nights in Berlin.
Presented at Benidorm Fest 2025, this track dives deep into our most post-punk side while keeping the pulse of dark electronic music alive — sharp basslines, haunting vocals and that sense of elegant decay we love to explore.
“Like shards of glass, our love lies broken…” An emotional journey through the memories we leave behind and the moments that slowly fade away.
A song born from the kind of connections that are easy to find — physical yet hollow. About desire that consumes, and the strange gravity of what you can’t escape, even when you try.
“My head is in danger, hooded avenger…” Our second release — built on heavy electronic pulses and relentless rhythm.
Our very first single — the beginning of everything. Written and filmed among the misty mountains of Bizkaia, “Deleted” captures the moment when sound, identity and silence start to blur.
Live shows, festivals and the nights where everything gets too loud (in the best way).
We are currently working on new material, visuals and future live performances. More dates and cities will be announced soon.
New songs, visuals and live experiences are currently in development. Stay connected to the Darkold universe.
